Guillermina Baeza, always involved with charitable causes
At Guillermina Baeza we have been working very hard to achieve our goals for more than 40 years, and we have always done so without forgetting how privileged we are to be able to dedicate ourselves to our dream: the design and manufacture of swimwear.
That is why we are concerned with giving back to society some of what it gives us by actively participating in actions or projects that seek to improve our environment.
Here is a summary of some of the projects we have collaborated on recently:
#WeWillArriveOnTime by ASDICA. #WeWillArriveOnTime was a solidarity project started by several young people concerned about keeping the Calvià Association for the Disabled active, as it was threatened with closure due to a lack of resources. #WeWillArriveOnTime filmed a short film with the members of the Association and screened it at a gala event that also included a charity auction. Guillermina Baeza contributed by donating several items from her latest collection to the auction. The funds raised from both the event ticket sales and the auction allowed the Association to remain active.
Dignified Africa. Established in late 2004, the Africa Foundation was created with the mission of contributing to improving the living conditions of the poorest people in Sub-Saharan Africa. The organization carries out a series of fundraising activities to continue its education and health projects, including concerts, charity markets, film screenings, and more. Guillermina Baeza contributed by donating several items of clothing that were sold at the market.
The Iván Mañero Foundation . Dr. Iván Mañero has been involved in cooperation projects for over 15 years and, as a physician, has worked with the most disadvantaged populations in Brazil and Guinea-Bissau. His foundation seeks to improve living conditions in West Africa, especially in Guinea-Bissau, striving to integrate into African society, respecting its ways of doing and thinking, while never forgetting human rights and the dignity of all people.
To this end, the Foundation carries out hundreds of charitable activities: benefit dinners, menus, and concerts, charity walks, and even charity fashion shows. It was precisely at one of these events that Guillermina Baeza modeled her children's collection for VITIVIC.
Large charity sale organized by the European Institute of Health and Social Welfare and the Capacis Foundation.
The European Institute of Health and Social Welfare is a WHO Collaborating Centre, independent and pluralistic, whose aims include medical education, patient satisfaction and development cooperation.
As part of its many initiatives to promote development cooperation, the Institute organized a charity market in collaboration with the Capacis Foundation , an organization dedicated to fostering innovation and professionalism in the world of disability by providing tools to develop the talents of people with disabilities and facilitate their integration into the workforce. Guillermina Baeza once again donated several items from her latest collection to be sold at the market. All proceeds went to the Capacis Foundation.
We have participated in numerous initiatives, and of course, we want to participate in many more. Changing the world depends on all of us, and we strive to help in any way we can to achieve this. Thank you to all the foundations and organizations that count on us for this!
